Gabriel Wilson is a director and screenwriter based in New York City. He attended Tufts University and the School of Visual Arts, where he studied English and Film, respectively. Since earning his BA and MPS, he has worked on a variety of creative and commercial endeavors. Gabriel’s creative work explores human relationships through a naturalistic lens. He is interested in telling stories of ordinary people whose everyday lives are examples of triumphs both large and small. His past projects have explored mental health, existential crises, and the darkly comedic side of the financial crisis. His films have screened at numerous festivals including the Hamptons International Film Festival, the Independent Film Festival Boston, the River Run International Film Festival, and the Urbanworld Film Festival. His short film Clean was recently acquired for broadcast by PBS. Working as a commercial director, he has created and shot content for brands such as Quiksilver, Harper Collins, and Mashable. Gabriel has also taught courses at both Columbia University and The School of Visual Arts. He is currently an MFA candidate for Directing in the graduate film program at Columbia University's School of the Arts
